Elder Care of Central Texas

Better Together

Elder Care of Central Texas is a nurse led practice serving Bastrop and the surrounding Central Texas area.

After 11 years across the health care continuum, this practice was founded to demonstrate a different way to care for our elderly: rooted in dignity, honor and respect first. All services provided are delivered by a Registered Nurse who is personally accountable for every client's experience.

Mission

To enrich, honor, and protect the lives of our elderly. Every client is cared for as a person who holds a lifetime of wisdom and experience — not as a number, and not as a revenue source — every visit is delivered carefully with the dignity and respect our elderly have earned.

Vision

To reestablish what elder care can and should look like — care rooted in dignity, honor, and respect first, delivered by a nurse who is personally accountable for every client's experience.

Core Values

  • Respect & HonorEvery elderly client and their family is treated with the respect and honor their life and wisdom deserve, in every interaction, at every visit.
  • Clinical IntegrityEvery client is treated with the clinical rigor and personal attention of a licensed nurse.
  • Advocacy FirstCare decisions are made with the client and family's wishes at the center, never a facility's convenience.
  • Community CommitmentA defined portion of capacity is reserved each month for elderly individuals who may not have access to care.
  • Transparency & ComplianceLicensing, documentation, and consent practices meet or exceed Texas regulatory standards at every step.

Community Give-Back Program

"A Lifetime, Honored"

Elder Care of Central Texas reserves a portion of its monthly capacity to provide care, at no cost, to elderly individuals who may not have the financial means to access care — because dignified care shouldn't depend on the ability to pay for it.

Churches

Local pastors and church leadership are invited to refer congregants in need of elder care support.

Senior Centers

Directors are invited to refer clients identified as lacking private-pay resources.
